Welcome lovely humans, to my podcast „Sex and Art“. I am an artist and sex therapist from Berlin, living in Linköping, Sweden. In this podcast I combine my passion for art and sex with my passion for very interesting people. Throughout my life, I met so many wise, crazy, lovely, exciting, and interesting people and I had tons of inspiring conversations. And I want to bring these conversations to you. I’ll talk with artists, dancers, comedians, musicians, programmers, managers, writers, bodyworkers as well as tantrics, healers, priests, or just someone I deeply fell in love with. In every episode, you'll be allowed a peek into their world and we find out how they connect to art and sex. For me these two notions - art and sex - describe life. Online life drawing. Creative community with passion and purpose.
For this episode, I met with the incredible life drawing hosts from the Berlin-based sessions called "Sketcherei" - Liana Gilman and Alexandra Rudneva. Their (now online) events are always fun and diverse and leave a lot of space for the self-expression of the model - and of the sketching artists.
The goal of Sketcherei is to connect artists - sketchers and performers - around the globe. The focus of every session is catching the motion and dynamic of the human body, but Sketcherei always has performance at the heart of everything. Coming from a Russian art background hostile to non-academic artists, Alexandra and Liana were keen to create a community for artists of all kinds to enjoy the drawing process.
